We would like to share our comments with you on the wonderful experience we had in working with Karen Taylor-Straley recently, in the June 2013 sale of our Monrovia home on Palm Avenue. We were extremely pleased to have selected Karen as our Listing Agent. She is experienced and knowledgeable on the local real estate market. She was also very patient in working with us and educating us along the way, as this was our first experience selling a home. Although Karen was working on other transactions with other clients, she always made us feel special, always made time for us, and gave us 100% confidence she was working on our behalf and in our best interests. Furthermore, Karen is a genuine person with a wonderful sense of humor too, so that made our working together even more pleasant!

An additional factor we’d like to mention in commending Karen’s work is her networking capabilities. Karen has local contacts with whom she’s worked with for many years, and was able to call upon them for help we needed to make inspections, repairs, clean carpets, stage the home, etc. These people were without exception skilled professionals in their trade and prices were fair. With both of us working and all the details needing attention during the marketing of our home, it was refreshing to know Karen was managing it with her contacts and keeping track of the details as well as the timeline.

Finally, we found Karen to be a good negotiator throughout the process and ultimately with our buyer’s agent. We were very pleased with the final selling price and terms, having confidence Karen was working on our behalf and to the benefit of all parties.
